Didn't think I'd ever see the day I'd finally pull the trigger and treat myself (not a set for my kiddo) to this set. I was going through something awful and needed a distraction. I still have a ways to go but this has been great therapy!Parents never really get a "day off". My "days off" usually consist of catching up on housework I couldn't do because of my day job.Going upstairs, by myself, and working on this has allowed for me to have a much-needed break in the routine.Mom's who love puzzles and Harry Potter...you need this ASAP!
This is by far my favorite Lego build. Impressive size, highly detailed and really added to my display area with all my other LEGO sets. It’s heavy so be careful moving it.
These set was very fun to put together. I also bought lights for it and it turned out super nice!
First thing you need to know about this set, make sure that your build space is big enough. Mine took up a large chunk of the dining room table as in my picture.Once you start building and get further along towards the end, this set will be a bit hard to move around. Some of the sections can be fragile if accidentally bumped or moved. In my case a lower section of the hull came off when I tried to move it off the table. This took me almost two weeks of time to build, doing a few hours each night after the family went to bed. It was very enjoyable to put together and I liked how the build was not super repetitive like some other sets. The details are great and it is quite the display piece when finished. For any Lego/Star Wars fan I highly recommend this set. Yes the cost is up there but I think you will get your enjoyment out of the build.Would I buy it again? Yes (if I had space for another one)
Great set at amazing prize, glad I was able to snag it
I have recently developed a love for LEGOS once more, and what better playset to build than with Jabba's Sail Barge from Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi. I was born around the time that movie came out, and LEGOS had been around even then. One day recently I was in the LEGO, and I saw this magnificent set. I couldn't help but be amazed just how big this was, and almost to scale with the mini figures included. With about 4,000 pieces, this took a few days to fully assemble. Each piece was designed so uniquely that it all made this model look so much like the one in the movie. I'm so glad I got this one versus that wimpier littler set of the barge. This was more worth the price. And it's not just for kids, any longtime Star Wars or LEGO fan will have a ball of a good time in building this.
The Falcon comes to build either version. That includes the minifigs. The top plates, removable to display interior are difficult to work with when putting the model on an angle mount, but patience will get you there.
I think this is heavier than the UCS Millennium Falcon. Sturdy build. The wings/engines single piece seems heavier than the rest of the model. Display space needed is slightly less than the Falcon but make sure the model is on a very sturdy platform. Minifigs are best displayed with provided mount.
Really fun build! It took a while to complete, but it was one of the most fun and frustrating builds I've ever built. It takes up the space of a card table.
This was so fun to build. It had lots of little detail like a tiny scale gunship. It also looks great
This set is just so impressive. Any Lego enthusiast would enjoy having it.
Beautiful addition to my collection and a solid build with tons of little extras. I love the ease of removing panels for viewing its insides after the build was finished. They did a really great job on this one.Note on other reviews: some reviews cited damage to their boxes on arrival or shipping without a “cover box” to protect the product box. That didn’t happen with mine. It came shipped in a secondary box that protected it well. On that note, the LEGO boxes were pretty cool too!
Relaxing and calming
This was a super fun Star Wars Lego build…I have several and I really enjoyed the detail and specifics of this project. 10/10 recommend!!
When I walked into our modest condo with the Massive UCS Millennium Falcon 75192 in my arms, my girlfriend’s eyes welled with tears. Not the happy kind. But I reassured her—for $900, this was a bargain. A deal, even. She will come around. Probably.I've built a lot of LEGO sets over the years, but this one? This one is an absolute unit. The detail is ridiculous. The box alone nearly threw my back out but now that it’s fully assembled, I have no regrets.I’m including a photo of it with my dog for scale. He seems concerned.
